Overview
With permission from Mitsushi Yutaka, formerly of POSKY, Rikoooo converted his McDonnell Douglas MD-80 series to native FSX and Prepar3D v4 format. The package includes the MD-81, MD-83 and MD-88 with 17 liveries using alpha channels for reflections.
The conversion adds gauges, including a Honeywell FMC, and improves integration between Marco Spada’s 2D panel and the 360-degree virtual cockpit. Sounds were recorded from a Pratt & Whitney JT8D engine. The flight model and autopilot calibration are accompanied by repositioned lighting and smoke effects.
The 2D panel is recommended for flying: the virtual cockpit is primarily visual rather than practical for operating the aircraft. Read the documentation for details of the included functions.
Liveries: Delta Airlines, American Airlines, Allegiant, Aero Mexico, Aero Mexico AMS, Aero Republica, Avianca, Alitalia, TWA, Northwest, Orient Thai, GMG, Royal Jordanian, Iberia (Stephen Browning), Delta Airlines 1999, Series Star Alliance and Scandinavian Airlines.
