Overview
Projet Noratlas’s Nord 2501 Noratlas brings together Jean-François Martin and Gilbert Millas’s work for FSX and Prepar3D. The August 2017 update adds Prepar3D v4 compatibility. Its comprehensive French manual covers the model’s procedures.
A detailed virtual cockpit and fully modelled 3D cabin are accompanied by a 2D panel, 3D gauges, custom sounds, night textures, animations and smoke effects.
Four models and eleven liveries are included: Nord 2501 n°27, n°18, n°105, n°105 LTG-62_53+09, Tonkin 1954, ET 1/64 Béarn, Nord HAF, Montana DNRC N7549F, Air America, 50ANS and LTG 61 GA+120.
The real Noratlas is a high-wing, twin-engine transport with a twin-boom tail, developed by Nord-Aviation in the late 1940s. It served in both military and civilian roles, reflected in the package’s varied paint schemes.
