Overview
Tim “Piglet” Conrad’s OV-10A Bronco for FSX and Prepar3D includes four 3D models, six liveries, a clickable virtual cockpit and custom sounds. The DXT5 textures are supplied at 2048 × 2048 resolution.
This is a native FSX SP2 model, built with the SP2/Acceleration SDK. The 16 November 2017 update adds compatibility with Prepar3D v1, v2, v3 and v4.
The six schemes depict the 20th TASS at Da Nang in 1969, US Marine Corps VMO-2 at Da Nang in 1970, US Navy VAL-4 at Binh Thuy in 1971, the Royal Moroccan Air Force in the 1980s, Venezuela’s 40 Squadron at Barcelona in 1973 and Indonesia’s 3 Squadron at Baucau in 1981.
The real Bronco was developed for light attack, reconnaissance and forward air control. A separate FS2004 edition is available.
