Polikarpov U-2(Po-2) late series v1.0 FSX & P3D

SWingman’s model depicts a late-series Polikarpov U-2, later renamed Po-2. The Soviet biplane served in training, agricultural work, liaison and night operations. This version has neither a starter nor a generator, so engine starting is performed manually.

Starting procedure in the simulator:

1. Set the throttle to idle and the mixture to full rich.
2. Set the fuel cut-off to “open”.
3. Operate the primer lever three or four times.
4. Set the magnetos to “1+2”.
5. Switch on the master battery.
6. Select the “engine start” view, then click a propeller blade.

You can also use Ctrl + E for automatic starting. For aerobatics, the model’s instructions recommend keeping the fuel load at or below 40%.
