Overview
Yannick Lavigne, Fred Banting and Rob Young’s Robin DR400 was converted to native FSX and Prepar3D format by Bluebear. It includes an HD virtual cockpit, 2D panel, several liveries and custom sounds.
Version 2, dated 21 October 2017, adds native Prepar3D v4 compatibility, another livery and an updated panel. Flight dynamics were revised, particularly to improve trim behaviour. The earlier native conversion also introduced refreshed sounds and effects.
The real DR400 is a wood-and-fabric touring aircraft, recognisable by its low Jodel-style wing, pronounced outer-wing dihedral and forward-sliding canopy. Its tricycle undercarriage and widespread flying-club use provide a familiar setting for circuits and visual navigation.
