Overview
Read the manuals before operating the SCS Tupolev Tu-134A-3 for FSX and FSX Steam. The original documentation is in Russian, with several English PDF translations included in this package. The model represents the Soloviev D-30-powered variant.
This edition uses Soviet Classics Simulation’s aircraft, first developed for FS2004 and subsequently adapted to FSX. It incorporates Connoisseur’s fixes published on Avsimrus.com and applied by Rikoooo to address problems in the initial conversion. SCSTu-134FSXMods.pdf documents the changes.
The cabin and cockpit are fully modelled in 3D with HD textures, sounds recorded from the real aircraft, animations and effects. The engine-start video below provides a visual guide to the startup sequence.
XMLTools is required. Rikoooo’s installer adds it automatically and writes the necessary DLL.xml entries. Documentation is available in the aircraft folder under SimObjects/Airplanes and through the Rikoooo Add-on Start menu shortcut when created by the installer.
Experience with the Project Tupolev Tu-154B-2 may help with some procedures, but the Tu-134’s own controls still need to be learned.
