Overview
This Tupolev Tu-144D in Aeroflot colours adapts a model originally created for FS2004 to FSX. The package includes several official updates and works with FSX, FSX Steam and Prepar3D v1, v2 and v3. It is not compatible with Prepar3D v4.
Learning the aircraft takes time: its systems and controls use their own operating logic. The manual is mainly in Russian, with a partial English translation made using Google Translate. Read it before the first flight. As Rikoooo did not develop the simulation, support for its operation is not provided.
Set up the joystick before attempting to fly. Press Shift+5 to open ServPribor. Incorrect setup can cause unwanted view or control movements as soon as the aircraft loads. The Flight Instructor Online tutorial explains how to disable default joystick controls with Ctrl+K, then assign and save axes and buttons in ServPribor.
You can skip the tutorial’s installation section, which is already handled by Rikoooo’s installer.
The package credits Thomas Ruth, Claudio Mussner, Nikita Konstantinov, Mikhail Mitin, Igor Borozdin and Frion. Like Concorde, the real Tu-144 belongs to the generation of four-engine supersonic civil transports.
