Overview
VFR Balice Extension I version 1.2, by Lotar Tomczyk and Jakub Mista, represents Kraków’s old town and the village of Balice in Poland. Its 3D objects and monuments provide landmarks for flights around the EPKK area.
The package combines detailed terrain, improved night textures, animations, road vehicles and boat traffic.
Work began in 2005, using photographs for textures, geodetic data and models created in GMAX. These materials underpin the buildings and their placement in the surrounding landscape.
