Overview
David Maltby's Vickers VC10 C1K comes to FS2004 with two RAF liveries and custom sounds. The model depicts the VC10's distinctive outline, with all four jet engines mounted at the rear of the fuselage.
The real aircraft was designed for long-range routes, including demanding operations from hot or high-altitude airfields and relatively short runways. The RAF developed its transport role further with air-to-air refuelling conversions. C1 aircraft converted to C1K standard retained their passenger and freight capacity.
That background suits simulated transport flights between distant air bases.
