Overview
Thomas Roehl, Joerg Hammes and Stefan Medelnik's Zeppelin NT v1.0 brings an airship to FS2004, with a fully usable virtual cockpit, animations, lighting and effects.
The model was built with FSDS3.5 and uses multiple levels of detail. Four textures and a repaint set are included for changing its appearance.
The real Zeppelin NT is semi-rigid: an internal frame and helium pressure maintain the envelope's shape. An airship route is as much about watching the landscape as reaching a destination, making local flights a different way to explore FS2004 scenery.
