Overview
Aerosoar’s Discus-2b is a Standard Class glider for MSFS 2020. Developed by NewkTV from Rohr 3D Solutions’ model, with help from FlightSim Squadron, it includes a clickable cockpit.
The panel combines analogue and digital instruments, including Ian “B-21”’s variometers. The airbrakes allow variable deployment.
Winch launches and aerotowing require Touching Cloud’s Kinetic Assistant. For creating liveries, the paint kit is in the complete archive available on the author’s page.
Installation advice
Remove any previous manually installed aerosoar-discus folder before using this version. Assign “Spoilers Axis” to a control axis for variable airbrake operation.
Known limitations
The author warns that hitting the water can cause a full simulator crash. Keep the aircraft within its weight and balance limits: loading it outside these limits can cause a crash to desktop when the flight loads.
