Edwards Air Force Base KEDW Photoreal for FSX and P3D
Edwards AFB Air Base (KEDW) in the USA is home of the Air Force Flight Test Center and NASA's Dryden Flight Research Center. Since the 1950s, almost all American military aircraft have been tested at Edwards and have been the scene of many breakthroughs in the field of aviation. For example, on October 14, 1947, Chuck Yeager broke the sound barrier on the Bell X-1 rocket. On April 14, 1981, the first space shuttle landed on runway 23 at Rogers Lake. Aircraft research is still ongoing at Edwards with projects such as the X-51 WaveRider Scramjet with maximum Mach 7+ speed and several unmanned stealth fighters. Vehicles (X-45, X-46, X-47).
This superb detailed and wide scenery covers a total of 14500 sq km in photo-real textures. For FSX Acceleration (or Gold), FSX Steam Edition and Prepar3D v4. The resolution of 1 m / pixel brings you razor-sharp images, even near the ground. Best appreciated in low and slow operations! It also contains a mesh of resolution 10 m.
Including dozens of ground vehicles, planes at parking lots and 3D buildings, this scenery is superimposed without problem on the original Edwards scenery of FSX Acceleration and Prepar3D.
Important note: The auto-installer takes care of everything, declaring the scenery in the simulator and copying files. You have nothing to do except follow the instructions on the screen. However, once the download is complete and the zip file on your computer you must uncompress (unzip) all the files in the same folder (Disk0001.tiz, Disk0002.tiz etc) before running the executable (.exe)
