Re: P3DV5 HF1 TTA & FPS Issue

Oh, and before you get all bent out of shape, this is a Rikoooo forum, not a P3D or Lockheed Martin forum. You don't mention any of Rikoooo's add-ons. If you come to a private, freeware add-on provider's website to rant about how bad someone else's product is, don't expect much sympathy. If you take...

Re: P3DV5 HF1 TTA & FPS Issue

Some people won't be told, so I do wonder why I bother. V5 is in no way v4 hotfix 3, and suggesting that it is, is an insult to the thousands of hours of work that's been put in. V5 does work, will run smoothly and is everything it should be. Apart from EA, which is still causing issues - and is not...

Ah. So simple I didn't think of it! Thanks for clarifying. And you're right. It saves no space at all really to merge them.

DHC-7-10 and 12. I'm confused!

Hi. I'm a huge fan of the Rikoooo packages and I have most of the P3Dv5 compatible ones. I've been using the DHC-7-10 package from a few weeks ago, and I've just installed the new DHC-7-12 package. All good so far, except that I'm a bit confused by the difference between the two. Visually they seem ...

Stop showing off!

Seriously, you won't get much help yet, because nobody else actually has a Bravo Throttle...

Re: P3DV5 HF1 TTA & FPS Issue

The sliders in v4 and v5 are not comparable. All the way up in v5 is a lot more detailed / demanding than the same setting in v4. Your rig is significantly better than my old i5 2500K, and I could get flyable framerates in v5. However, for best visual performance you need a monster CPU. I'm using an...

Re: P3DV5 HF1 TTA & FPS Issue

Yes, you're right. I just checked and the tailplane does move in the wrong sense. It's only visual though. The aircraft flies normally and the VC controls move in the correct sense. More of an concern is that I can't get the landing gear to retract and the flap level doesn't seem to work. However, i...

Re: Scenery default ( MPTO)

I'm wondering why you are asking this question on Rikoooo's forum, when the add-ons you mention are from OrbX and Just Flight. Surely you will get more help if you open a ticket with Just Flight who sold you the airport.

Re: Which add-ons would you like to be updated ?

Anything by Milton Shupe is going to find its way into my collection. His D18 Amphibian is a particular favourite of mine, but the virtual cockpit hasn't aged well so I'd really like to see that updated. There are also lots of good quality repaints that could be added to the package too - the ones f...

Re: Installation problems of B787

The manual installation method does work, if you do it correctly, which you haven't. I always install all my add-ons to a separate directory, for the same reason you mentioned. It keeps my installation of P3D 'clean'. The Rikoooo installer is excellent because it lets me install the aircraft exactly...
