Présentation

LordFrites’ Boeing 747 SCA carries the Endeavour orbiter above its fuselage. It uses the simulator’s Asobo/Working Title 747-8i, with a NASA livery, additional tail fins and a payload configuration adapted to carrying the shuttle.

A dedicated console controls Endeavour’s release. The Shuttle Payload Manager tablet selects the payload configuration, with mass settings accounting for the orbiter.

Compatibilité

MSFS 2020 package also compatible with MSFS 2024 according to the author. Uses the Asobo/Working Title 747-8i.

Conseils d’installation

The Asobo/Working Title 747-8i must be installed. To initialise ZFW, remove the shuttle with the tablet, then press the FMC ZFW softkey twice, following the author’s procedure.

Limites connues

Endeavour is a non-flyable external payload. CHKL INCOMPLETE NORM and STAB GREENBAND warnings may appear because the avionics come from the passenger 747-8i.

Notes de version

Version 2.1 updates the package to the SU17 core, retains the post-AAU2 Asobo/Working Title avionics and fixes the loading-tip display.
