Présentation

Thalixte’s Enhanced edition represents La Rochelle and its coastline with photogrammetry. The old harbour, central neighbourhoods, basins and port facilities provide landmarks for visual flights around the city and the Île de Ré bridge.

Compared with the previous La Rochelle City scenery, this edition revises blending with the Microsoft/Asobo landscape and terrain. Tiles are cut to retain buildings and roads while leaving more room for simulator-generated trees. Version 1.1 adjusts the overall altitude, including the airport surroundings.

The final gallery images show the author’s previous edition and are labelled accordingly.

Compatibilité

La Rochelle City Enhanced 1.1, for MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 as stated on the author’s listing. Both simulators use the same package.

Conseils d’installation

Remove any manually installed older La Rochelle City before activating this edition. Keep only one city coverage active and check for overlaps with a separate LFBH scenery.

Limites connues

Photogrammetry is mainly intended for aerial viewing and may look coarse at very close range. This is city scenery rather than a detailed LFBH airport replacement.

Notes de version

1.1 adjusts the overall scenery altitude to correct heights around the airport.
