Check compatibility before downloading an add-on

Start with the download page’s Compatibility section. An add-on made for FS2004, FSX, Prepar3D or Microsoft Flight Simulator does not automatically work in the other simulators. The exact version matters too: an MSFS 2020 label does not confirm MSFS 2024 compatibility.

1. Check your simulator’s name and version.
2. Read the add-on description, requirements and changelog.
3. For a livery or enhancement, check which base aircraft is required and whether it is included.
4. Use the installation method offered on that page: an installer, supplied instructions or Hub, depending on the file.

If compatibility is unclear, use the discussions on the download page and include your simulator and version. An answer about another aircraft or simulator version does not confirm your particular case.
