AltraMax FSX & P3D

AltraMax v2 is an experimental ultralight project by Kris Pyatt, known as Krispy1001. The FSX and Prepar3D package contains eleven variations, fully modelled in 3D.

The US ultralight category discussed in the FAA’s AC 103-7 provides context for this type of aircraft: one occupant, an empty-weight threshold of 254 lb for a powered vehicle or 155 lb unpowered, a maximum five-US-gallon fuel capacity, no more than 55 knots at full power and a power-off stall speed no higher than 24 knots.

These figures describe the regulatory category, not measured performance of each of the eleven simulated variations.
