Overview
Ross McLennan’s FS2004 package combines the Plane-Design Lancaster with prepared flights following the RAF’s 617 Squadron raid on the Möhne and Eder dams during the night of 16–17 May 1943.
Version 6 refines the routes using information published since the project’s earlier releases. The author notes that historical accounts do not always agree, so the flights are a documented reconstruction with the limitations of representing this operation in a simulator.
Flight plans: open Start → All Programs → Rikoooo Add-ons → Avro Lancaster TP464 DB AJJ v6 FS2004 → FlightSimulatorFiles.
The author’s research included studying the cockpit of Lancaster “Just Jane” and visiting the Eder dam. Following the route helps place the crews’ low-level flying and the surrounding terrain in context.
A separate FSX and Prepar3D edition is also available.
