Overview
This Boeing F/A-18C Hornet by “Jimi” Hendrix, Jamal “SpIns” Ingram and Corrado La Posta is freeware for FSX and Prepar3D up to version 4. It includes eighty-five liveries, a virtual cockpit and dedicated sounds.
Read the English manual installed in Documents, particularly for the autopilot and avionics. Rikoooo’s automatic installer handles installation of the package.
Weapons operation requires VRS TacPack, an optional paid expansion. It is not listed as a requirement simply to fly the aircraft.
The real Hornet is a supersonic twin-engine multirole fighter and attack aircraft capable of carrier operations. Derived from the YF-17, it was developed by McDonnell Douglas and Northrop for the US Navy and Marine Corps.
