Overview
Dino Cattaneo’s former payware Douglas A-4 package covers E, F, G, H and K variants as well as the SuperFox. All use the same early A-4F virtual cockpit. TacPack is required for weapons, and PBR materials are limited to 64-bit Prepar3D. The editions are 1.02 for FSX and 1.03 for P3D4.
Included models
- Early A-4E without the avionics hump, and upgraded A-4E with the hump.
- A-4F, Australian A-4G, Israeli A-4H and New Zealand A-4K before the KAHU upgrade.
- A-4F SuperFox, including a dedicated Blue Angels model.
External loads are configurable. Flight modelling based on real manuals differentiates J52-P6, P8 and P408 engine performance. More than 20 liveries cover US Navy and Marine attack, training and adversary units, plus Australia, New Zealand and Israel.
The package supports VRS TacPack carriers and SWS Carrier Environment X (CEX), and includes a detailed manual. The real Skyhawk is a lightweight, single-engine carrier attack aircraft that first flew in 1954.
