Eurofighter Typhoon FSX & P3D

TacPack is required for the radar, weapons and loadout configurator. PIRATE and TFLIR imaging additionally require Prepar3D v2.5 or a later compatible version. This former payware Eurofighter Typhoon by Dino Cattaneo is distributed free of charge with his permission.

The exterior model and virtual cockpit are detailed. The pilot interface and avionics draw on training-simulator footage, including management of the head-up and multifunction displays. A custom flight model based on public information is paired with sounds from real recordings.

Texture sets depict the Royal Air Force, Aeronautica Militare, Luftwaffe and Ejército del Aire. TacPack integration covers sensors and weapons, including ASRAAM, IRIS-T and Meteor missiles.

The real Typhoon is a twin-engine, canard-delta multirole fighter developed through European cooperation. Initially focused on air defence, it progressively gained air-to-ground capabilities; its first combat operations took place over Libya in 2011.
