F-35 Lightning II package FSX & P3D

Compatible with FSX Gold, FSX Acceleration and FSX Steam; FSX SP2 alone is not supported. The package also provides a version for Prepar3D v4 and v5. Dino Cattaneo’s former payware product is now distributed as freeware with his permission.

All three F-35 variants are represented: the conventionally operated F-35A, the short-takeoff and vertical-landing F-35B, and the carrier-based F-35C with catapult launches and arrested landings.

The author aims for medium fidelity using publicly available information. Some systems and procedures are modelled in detail; others are simplified or omitted because of simulator and information limitations. Vertical Reality Simulations TacPack is required for certain tactical functions.

Read the manual placed on your desktop under Rikoooo Add-ons → F-35 Lightning II package FSX & P3D → Document. The package versions are 3.50 for FSX and 3.70 for P3D4. The real F-35 descends from the Joint Strike Fighter programme’s X-35 demonstrator and first flew on 15 December 2006.
