Overview
AlphaSim’s MiG-25, converted to native FSX format by LLS, receives Flanker256’s updates in this package. Nine liveries and configurations depict armed and unarmed Foxbats. The modifications were tested in Prepar3D v4 and later versions; an FSX panel configuration is also supplied.
Virtual cockpit instruments have been repositioned, and the panels expanded to include autopilot, lighting, pitot heat and canopy controls. The clock can adjust simulation rate. The master direction/HSI display with glide-slope indication can be enlarged.
Additional pop-ups handle radar and fuel management. Automatic engine heat effects, a sonic boom, a wheel-lock prevention gauge and cockpit sounds are included.
Read ALPHA_Foxbat_mod.pdf for flying advice and full credits, alongside the kneeboard references. Contributions include Bob Chicilo’s flight-dynamics adjustments, Pierre Lheureux’s cockpit textures and Christoffer Petersen’s sounds.
