Overview
Project Tupolev’s Tu-154M for FS2004 models the systems and operating procedures of this Soviet airliner. This package includes patch 2.03, added on 12 June 2010. The simulation covers the exterior model, 2D panels, virtual cockpit and all three hydraulic systems.
Before the first flight
Read the English manual included with the package before attempting an engine start. Procedures are lengthy and depend on carrying out actions in sequence. Hovering over controls displays English tooltips. Use the Tu-154M documentation supplied here; a Tu-154B2 tutorial is not a substitute.
Two practical details from the update: engine No.3 cannot start while the rear baggage compartment is open, and starting requires all feed-tank pumps to be switched on.
Changes in version 2.03
The update improves gauge readability and corrects numerous systems. It models fuel automation, engine thrust response to atmospheric conditions, fire protection and the water supply system. Wheel cooling takes brake-disc heating into account, including an overheating effect. Pressurisation, electrical and warning-system controls and indications also receive corrections.

Award and review
The model received an AVSIM Freeware Gold Award. The image below links to the English review published by AVSIM.
Identifying the Tu-154M
The Tu-154 is a medium-range trijet developed in the 1960s to replace several types on Soviet airline routes. The family first flew in 1968. The M version uses three Soloviev D-30KU-154 turbofan engines.
Its three rear-mounted engines, T-tail and main-gear fairings extending behind the wings are distinctive. Each main landing gear has six wheels on three axles. Listed dimensions are 47.9 m long, 37.55 m in span and 11.40 m high, with a wing area of 201.5 m².
