Overview

This edition of sal1800’s Cessna T206H Stationair is built for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. It uses the simulator’s modular aircraft structure and represents a six-seat single powered by a 300 hp turbocharged Lycoming TIO-540-AJ1A.

Four configurations are included: standard wheels, wheels with fairings, tundra tyres and amphibious floats. The tablet controls doors, seating and cargo, with an optional belly pod for additional storage.

Walkaround inspection is linked to the wear and tear system. Dirt builds up on the aircraft and tyres, and tyre pressure can be adjusted on the tundra version. Gravel guards are available on the standard-wheel version, and selected aircraft fittings can be hidden using the aircraft controls.

The author’s T206H manual explains the equipment and procedures. A copy is also included with the aircraft.

Compatibility

Native edition for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Use the separate MSFS 2020 listing for that simulator’s package.

Known limitations

Liveries may disappear at long distances and windshield reflections may be excessive. Avionics bus switches are already on when starting cold and dark. The copilot seat and model cannot be loaded in this version.

Release notes

Native MSFS 2024 conversion with modular structure, walkaround inspection and wear. Added surface dirt, adjustable tundra tyre pressure and gravel guards. Improved propeller pitch range and avionics lighting; magnetic compass and automatic HSI gyro-drift compensation.
