Overview

Patrick Le Luyer’s Souricette MB02 depicts Michel Barry’s single-seat design. Its wood-and-fabric construction, exposed engine and open cockpit suit leisurely visual flying and watching the landscape.

The flight deck uses a compact set of analogue instruments. Manual starting uses the fuel valve, battery and ignition, with controls accessible from the cockpit.

Original French and English engine-start instructions and the JPX 425 engine document accompany the aircraft. Version 1.6.2 raises the pilot’s viewpoint for a better view from the cockpit.

Compatibility

Shared package listed by the author for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. This is not a separate native 2024 edition.

Installation advice

For a manual start, use the mouse wheel to open the fuel valve, switch on the battery, set the ignition and hold the starter for about one and a half seconds. Ctrl+E also provides a quick start.

Release notes

Version 1.6.2 raises the cockpit viewpoint. Versions 1.6 and 1.6.1 adjusted fuel consumption, the cold-and-dark setup and rudder animation.
