The A319 is a shortened version of the A320. Featuring the same reactor and the same kerosene capacity but with less passenger than A320, with 124 passengers  its autonomy in 2 classes configuration is 7200 km, the largest of the family. The A320 and A319 airplane are the best selling of the A320 Family. The first flight of an A319 occurred on 24 August 1995, the JAA certification and commissioning was carried out with Swissair in April 1996.
