Cessna 172 Bush Kit

Large tyres, 210 hp and manually operated flaps give this tricycle-gear Skyhawk its bush-flying character. Bagolu adds a separate aircraft to the hangar, with wing cuffs and revised brakes for short-field operations.

Version 4.2.0 uses an analogue cockpit with selectable radios and navigation equipment. The configuration book controls the panel, cabin seating, cargo and ground equipment. Doors and windows open, and the package includes checklists, a tablet and several liveries. A basic panel is available without buying an additional GPS; TDS, PMS50 and Falcon71 integrations require their respective separate packages. Optional Boris Audio Works and Echo19 sound sets are not included.

This replaces the old G1000 and Classic variants. Move an older Bush Kit installation out of Community before using this version, and check that any third-party liveries support the current model. The Hub does not remove files installed by another tool.

The aircraft was built for MSFS 2020. Bagolu also reports compatibility with MSFS 2024 through its legacy-aircraft support, with limitations: use Ctrl+C to board; lighting and textures can vary with simulator updates. It is not a native MSFS 2024 aircraft. The latest release adds the 2024 EFB to the tablet and a vintage radio-stack option.

Author-declared compatibility: native MSFS 2020 aircraft, mostly compatible in MSFS 2024 through legacy support. Use Community for both editions, not Community2024. MSFS 2024 boarding uses Ctrl+C; lighting/textures may vary. No in-simulator test by Rikoooo is claimed.

Install the single bagolu-c172-bush package into the selected simulator Community folder. Keep the simulator Cessna 172 base aircraft available for shared resources. Move any older Bush Kit installation out of Community yourself before installation. Hub refuses collisions with unmanaged files and removes only its own managed files.

MSFS 2024 uses legacy support, with Ctrl+C boarding and possible lighting or texture differences. Earlier G1000/Classic liveries may require updates. Optional GPS integrations and paid sound packs are separate products.

Author release 4.2.0, 1 August 2026: MSFS 2024 EFB support in the tablet, vintage radio stack, altimeter scale correction and startup smoke. Source package preserved unchanged; provenance documentation added separately.
