Présentation

A tailwheel, large tyres and a 210 hp engine turn this Skyhawk into a short-field aircraft. Bagolu's conversion adds a separate entry to the hangar, with manually operated flaps and a cockpit whose equipment can be selected from the configuration book.

The current release uses an analogue panel. It replaces the earlier G1000 and Classic editions, so the G1000 name has been removed from this listing. The book also controls cabin seating and ground equipment. Optional TDS, PMS50 and Falcon71 GPS integrations need their separate packages; additional paid sound sets are not included.

For an existing installation, check Community for the old Classic or G1000 package before adding this version. Move those folders out using your previous installation method, and check the compatibility of any extra liveries. The Hub will not remove an unmanaged aircraft for you.

Version 4.2.0 adds a vintage radio stack and MSFS 2024 EFB support in the tablet. The author describes MSFS 2024 operation as a legacy port: Ctrl+C is used to board, and lighting or textures can vary with simulator updates. The gallery uses photographs from Bagolu's current page, credited to ANN0V.

Compatibilité

For MSFS 2020; the author also reports MSFS 2024 compatibility through legacy support, with limitations. This is not a native MSFS 2024 aircraft. No Rikoooo simulator test is claimed.

Conseils d’installation

Install into the selected simulator Community folder. Keep the simulator Cessna 172 base resources available. Move old bagolu-c172-taildragger-classic or bagolu-c172-taildragger-g1000 folders out of Community before using this release. Hub refuses unmanaged file collisions.

Limites connues

MSFS 2024 uses legacy compatibility: Ctrl+C boarding, with possible lighting or texture differences. Old G1000/Classic liveries may need updates. Optional GPS and sound integrations are separate packages.

Notes de version

Author release 4.2.0, 1 August 2026: vintage radios, MSFS 2024 EFB support, altimeter scale correction and startup smoke. The included cockpit book shows 4.2.0, while the original manifest still says 4.1.0. Both are preserved without editing.
