A fast around-the-world route in the Learjet 45
Designed by Paul Valente and Pierre Goffin for YQUET-Aviation, this plan offers a fast circumnavigation of the globe with a private jet well known to Flight Simulator pilots: the Bombardier Learjet 45.
The route is built as an introduction to modern intercontinental flying: long legs, high altitude, GPS use, radio backups, time zones and energy management in a business jet.
A long world tour adapted to a private jet.
Fly west and feel time zones doing their work.
A good stepping stone toward heavy airliners.
Excellent training for intercontinental navigation.
Understanding the flight
The Learjet 45 turns the world tour into a fast but demanding campaign. It has enough performance for continents, yet remains light enough to keep the pilot connected to each stop.
The route is also a dynamic geography lesson: Europe, North Atlantic, Americas, Pacific, Asia, Middle East, Africa and the return through the eastern Atlantic.
Before departure
- Set fuel, cruise altitude, high-altitude weather and reserves carefully.
- Prepare long legs before departure: arrival field, alternate, radio aids and descent point.
- Split the campaign by continents to avoid the endless-list effect.
- If you add the American scenic circuit, treat it as a VFR pause inside a global IFR journey.

Experience tips
The Learjet makes the route fast, not automatic: watch descents, fuel and alternates, especially over oceanic areas.
Keep a log by continent. The campaign becomes far more motivating when each phase has its own atmosphere.
