Overview
Carlos Palacio adapted Icaro Group’s AgustaWestland AW139 for FSX/P3D. The package includes three models and three liveries: SAR, HEMS and HEMS without floats. The cockpit follows the real helicopter’s layout, the cabin is fully modelled in 3D, and most instruments, including the FMS, are functional.
Read the documentation before flying. Your Documents folder contains these files: Checklists AW139.docx, Checklists Condensed AW139.pdf, FMS_guide.pdf, Readme.docx, Type_Rating_Course.pdf. They cover procedures, checklists and FMS operation.
For full FMS functionality, install Tom Aguilo’s XMLVARS from his FSDeveloper resources. The original reference to a Doug Dawson DLL is incorrect. Without XMLVARS, the FMS operates only partially.
When a flight loads, an alarm may sound for about thirty seconds. It stops once the monitored levels reach their normal values.
