Overview
This Mil Mi-26 has a virtual cockpit and 2D panel reworked by Michael Pook. Previously inoperative instruments and white texture areas in the cockpit have been corrected. The 2D panel is based on Vladimir Zhyhulskiy’s design, modified to match the VC.
The package adds smoke effects. Rikoooo’s native FSX/P3D conversion, dated 30 April 2019, adds Prepar3D v4 compatibility. The original model credits mention airfilips and Alphasim.
The Mi-26, NATO reporting name Halo, is a Soviet and later Russian heavy-lift helicopter used by civilian and military operators. Developed as a successor to the Mi-6, it first flew on 14 December 1977.
