Overview
The Avia 57 v1.0 for FS2004 contains three aircraft in passenger and cargo configurations, with custom flight models. The 21 December 2012 update fixes the previously inoperative heading indicator.
Period panels and instruments accompany clickable virtual cockpits, readable gauges, detailed cabins, carefully finished exterior textures and radial-engine sounds. Read the supplied manual and operating documentation.
Milton Shupe, Nigel Richards, John Smith and James Banks created the package; Bill “Lionheart” Ortis is credited for the pilot figures.
The real Avia 57 was a Czechoslovak low-wing trimotor designed by Robert Nebasář. It flew in 1935, with seating for 14 passengers and landing gear retracting into the wing-mounted engine nacelles.
