Overview
This North American T-6G Texan for FS2004 includes one livery and its accompanying sounds. Created by Cliff Presley, Charlotte and Denis da Silva, the model represents a piston-engined trainer with pleasant handling.
The real Texan prepared pilots for more demanding military aircraft. Depending on the operator and version, the family was known as the AT-6 in US Army aviation, the SNJ in the US Navy and the Harvard in Commonwealth service. Training, rather than frontline fighter duties, was its main purpose.
A local flight with turns and circuits suits that background and gives you time to get familiar with the model before setting off on a navigation exercise.
