Overview

This Spitfire MkVIII for FS2004 is credited to Julian Adams, Pete Haley and Murray Bremner. Offered under the name D-Day Spitfire MkVIII TGR, the package places particular emphasis on its engine sound set.

The real Mk VIII was a Merlin-powered development of the Spitfire. It served in several theatres, including the Pacific with the Royal Australian Air Force. Australian War Memorial records also show Mk VIII aircraft operating in the Mediterranean.
