Overview
This Bell 212 Fire Rescue is for Prepar3D v4 and v5 only. Jordan Moore and George Arana’s Hovercontrol model was converted to native P3D format by Nicholas Mitchell and George Arana. Nicholas Mitchell assembled the package, with fixes by Rikoooo.
Seven models and 19 liveries include a virtual cockpit, cabin and detailed 2D panel. Incompatible gauges have been replaced. Rikoooo corrected main-rotor blur, tail-rotor position on Bambi models, lights, the rotating camera, windows and a flickering VC texture. Rear seats were removed from the interior view to match the exterior model, and reflections were added.
Controls: Shift+E opens the rear doors; Shift+E followed by 2 opens the pilot and copilot doors. The tailhook command extends or retracts the snorkel/Bambi Bucket. Ctrl+F1/F2/F3/F4 controls the FLIR camera’s X and Y axes. I triggers water release. Further functions are described in Aircraft Accessories Readme.txt.
Nicholas Mitchell’s work appears on Simulated Air Tanker Operations. The distribution permission is reproduced below.
