Overview
Restauravia’s Bloch 220 v1.1 for FS2004 includes a virtual cockpit and a complete 2D panel. Air France and French Air Force liveries are supplied. Emmanuel Geffroy is credited for the model.
The real MB.220 was an all-metal, low-wing twin-engine transport developed from experience with the MB.210 bomber. It first flew at Villacoublay on 11 June 1936 and had space for sixteen passengers.
Air France ordered sixteen production aircraft, named after French provinces. Early routes included Paris–Marseille, with the first scheduled service on 20 July 1937. The supplied liveries offer settings for those civil routes or the aircraft’s requisition by the French Air Force in 1939. Dassault Aviation history.
