Overview

This PB4Y-2 Privateer for FS2004 is supplied with one livery and sounds. The model includes a bomb-release feature; consult the download’s documentation for its operation and assigned controls.

The real Privateer was a land-based maritime patrol aircraft developed from the B-24 family. Its longer fuselage and large single fin distinguish it from the Liberator. The first XPB4Y-2 flew on 20 September 1943.

The year 1939 belongs to the early B-24 programme; the PB4Y-2 was a later development. The model’s author is not identified in the credits available here.
