Douglas A1 Skyraider FS2004

This FS2004 Douglas A-1 Skyraider was created by R. Spaan. It includes a virtual cockpit, custom sounds and four textures labelled US Air Force, Navy, USN and VNAF in the package. The liveries offer several presentations of the piston-engined attack aircraft.

The real Skyraider was designed for carrier-based attack duties and first flew in 1945. Initially designated AD by the US Navy, it became the A-1 when American military aircraft designations were standardised in 1962. It continued serving alongside jets, notably in ground-support roles.
