Overview
Open the 2D panel before flight to switch on the virtual cockpit instruments. This Mil Mi-6 Hook package for FSX and Prepar3D includes military, civilian and firefighting versions, plus a winching supplement.
A virtual cockpit and fully modelled 3D cabin accompany the working 2D panel originally created by Vladimir Zhygulskiy. The front and rear doors, rear ramp and engine covers open. Working heli-trim helps maintain control during winching operations.
Rolling takeoffs and landings are strongly recommended for this model. Loading the vehicles placed around the helicopter on the ground does not work.
The real Mi-6 is a Soviet heavy transport helicopter whose prototype first flew in 1957. Used for military transport, civilian services and relief operations, it preceded the Mi-26 in many heavy-lift roles. The original model is by Vladimir Zhygulskiy, the update by LLS and the package by Zhirnyy Ublyudok.
