Overview
This Mil Mi-2 must start from Cold & Dark; Ctrl+E will not start the engines. Follow the English manual to bring both turbines online. The included video provides a further presentation of the model.
The former Nemeth Designs payware product was converted to native FSX and Prepar3D v4 format by George Arana / Eagle Rotorcraft Simulations. Three variants are included: military transport with a Russian panel, passenger transport with an English panel, and Budapest Aircraft Service’s HA-BGH ambulance with a Hungarian panel.
The 2D panels and fully clickable virtual cockpit include reflective textures and interior and exterior lighting. Doors, pilots, switches and the attitude indicator are animated; the VC also has an IFR curtain.
Simulated systems include fire suppression, de-icing, improved trim and electrics. According to the authors, Mi-2 pilots evaluated the flight dynamics. The real helicopter was designed by Mil and built in Poland for transport, rescue and public-service roles.
