Overview
Restauravia’s Nord 3202 v1 for FS2004 depicts the 260 hp Potez 4D34B version with a three-blade Hartzell propeller and NR-AN-11G radio compass. Choose the solo configuration with one pilot or the dual-control (DC) configuration with two pilots and flying from the rear seat.
The download includes French documentation. An FS2004 package with English documentation, uploaded by the authors, is available through AVSIM; check the target simulator before choosing that separate package.
This low-wing tandem trainer has fixed tailwheel landing gear. Built for French Army aviation training and aerobatics, the Nord 3202 first flew on 17 April 1957. The real aircraft combined metal construction with fabric covering, with fuel and lubrication systems suitable for aerobatic manoeuvres.
Figures from the documentation
Wingspan: 9.50 m; length: 8.14 m; height: 2.84 m; wing area: 16.26 m². The wing section changes from NACA 23017 to NACA 23012, with slotted flaps and an aspect ratio of 5.5. The fixed landing gear uses oleopneumatic suspension and a tailwheel.
Listed empty mass with the radio compass is 875 kg, with a maximum of 1,220 kg. The documentation gives a 350 km/h maximum speed, 190 km/h cruise speed, 3,000 m ceiling and 4 h 30 endurance.
