Airbus Commercial Aircraft , known as Airbus is a European aircraft manufacturer headquartered in Blagnac, a suburb of Toulouse, France. A division wholly owned by the industrial group of the same name, the company manufactures more than half of the airliners produced worldwide, and is Boeing's main competitor.
Airbus was founded in as a consortium by European manufacturers at the end of the 1960s. Airbus Industrie became a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) in 2001, a subsidiary of EADS renamed Airbus Group in 2014 and then Airbus in 2017. BAE Systems held 20% of Airbus between 2001 and 2006.
The A32NX project is an Open-Source, community-led project, its goal is to create a free commercial-grade Airbus A320neo as close to the real thing as possible for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
This project was initially launched by Philippe Marion (FSX conversion) before being completely reworked by Headwind, to make it natively compatible with MSFS 2020.
